Help Shape the Future of Payette County’s Public Safety Services and Jail Facilities

7/3/2025

Payette County is inviting residents to help guide plans for the future of public safety services and jail facilities in the community. In 2024, the County completed a Master Facilities Plan that identified the jail as a top priority due to aging infrastructure, overcrowding, and safety concerns. The facility no longer meets modern standards, and your input is essential as the County evaluates its options.

We’re asking for your help to better understand community priorities, values, and needs as we consider how best to move forward.
Here’s how you can get involved:
• LEARN about the County’s public safety needs and jail planning efforts and why this project is a priority: https://www.payettecounty.org/elected-officials/sheriff/jfp
• PARTICIPATE in a short public survey to share your thoughts and concerns: http://bit.ly/PayetteCountyJail2025
• SHARE these links with friends, family, and neighbors across our community

Your feedback will help our community build a safer, more cost-effective future. Thank you for being part of the conversation!
