Sound The Alarm: Free smoke alarm installations. The Red Cross invites New Plymouth Residents to take part in Sound The Alarm, a community home-fire safety event offering Free smoke alarm installations. Volunteers and local partners will install Free smoke alarms and share home fire safety information to help reduce the risk of home-fire deaths. April 18, 2026, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., New Plymouth.
