Payette County Launches Facility Survey for Master Facilities Plan

7/22/2024

Payette County has launched a Facility Survey to gather citizen feedback of their experiences and observations of County-owned facilities, and the County is encouraging all its citizens and employees to participate.

The survey was developed after the Idaho-based consulting team of Clearwater Financial and GGLO Architects, along with County staff, toured the Payette County Courthouse Complex, including the jail, to assess existing building and mechanical systems conditions, as well as space utilization. The site tour analysis and survey findings will be used to evaluate whether existing facilities are able to be renovated or expanded, or if constructing new facilities would be more cost-effective to meet future service needs. Immediate facilities, service, and technological needs will be prioritized.

“The County is committed to serving and protecting its citizens. A significant way we do that is via our facilities. It is critical we keep our citizens informed, included, and engaged through this process,” says County Sheriff, Andy Creech. “The County facilities serve everyone, and we have reached a critical point with their conditions and effectiveness. The survey is a way to connect with our community to ensure each person has the opportunity to share their thoughts and feedback. We need everyone's participation.”

The Facility Survey opened Friday June 21, 2024, and will stay open through August 2024. To participate in the survey, please visit Payette County Facility Survey (zohopublic.com).
